Entrepreneurs are becoming increasingly important for both the Indian and global economy, due to government policies and market needs.
The opportunities for entrepreneurs are expanding, and institutions like IDBI, ICICI, IFCI, SBI and the National Small Industries Corporation along with EDI (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India) have been established to support entrepreneurship.
Under the Government of India’s “Start-up India – Stand-up India” scheme, this program provides training and support to aspiring entrepreneurs in small-scale industries.
